What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle and non-invasive hands-on process, suitable for all ages. It can help many conditions by raising vitality and encouraging a fuller expression of the inherent life force.

Craniosacral Therapy developed following discoveries made by American osteopaths at the turn of last century of rhythmic tide like movements throughout the body.

These subtle motions can become limited or restricted in response to physical and emotional disturbance, and cranio-sacral therapists work to facilitate a return to ease and balanced fluid movement.

In the words of one client -

“As an ME sufferer I am very sensitive, and unable to tolerate most treatments. I have found craniosacral therapy particularly helpful both in managing the illness and in gradually improving my condition. Rather than trying to cure a particular symptom, it taps into the health resources that I do have, and, building on this, brings about an overall improvement in health and well-being, both physical and mental. It has given me a quality of life I could not otherwise have had”
