Books on this page are essentially picture books that convey an impression of what the Technique looks like. Unfortunately as soon as you attempt to do something in the right way, you are working against the principles of the Technique and it won't work - you have to 'unlearn' your habits first.

However these books are popular and very useful as an adjunct to lessons, as well as stimulating interest in the work, so they are worth reading - Just don't think that you can learn Alexander Technique from a book.
